This area supports trophy mule deer. The mature mule deer are very heavily antlered and unusually tall. Most mule deer are harvested by clients who are on a combination elk/deer hunt in the earliest part of the general season. But because of the length of the mule deer rut, trophy bucks are taken throughout the season.
