The country we hunt is beautiful and contains record book specimens of all the species
that we hunt. Quality animals are here for the hunter willing and able to hunt seriously
for them. In order to increase your odds to the highest degree, I recommend arriving
in the best physical shape possible.
I cannot guarantee that you will harvest your trophy animal every trip. I will guarantee
the quality of my guides and the fact that they are all excellent, veteran hunters
of this area and will do their very best to ensure that you collect an animal of
trophy caliber. My guides give 100 percent and will hunt as hard as the client is
capable of hunting. Each of our Montana guides have many years experience guiding
hunters in this area.

We run most of our hunts
out of the lodge on the South Fork of Bull River. Hunters stay in our modern facility
with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, hot-tub, bar room and a full time cook. We do have
a backcountry camp that may be scheduled if game movements and weather permit.
Lodge Elevation: 2200 feet.

To guarantee you don't miss out, book your
desired hunt as early as possible. All prices quoted are based on a ratio of two
hunters to one guide. One on one hunts are available for an additional $1200. A
non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $1000 is required for 2 on 1 hunts and
$1400 for 1 on 1 hunts. Mountain lion deposit is $2000. Alaska deposits are 50%
of the hunt price.
Newsletters, reference lists, price lists and equipment requirement lists are available
upon request.
If you have any further questions please feel free to call. We hope to see you out
here soon, but until then the very best of hunting to you.
Montana elk, deer, and elk/deer combo licenses are by general draw. We do expect
a near 100% success rate obtaining licenses over the next few years. The license
application deadline is March 15th. Weare’s Outfitting will assist all of our clients
with the application process. A deposit confirms your booking with us. Should you
not be successful in drawing a license, we will refund your money or transfer your
deposit to another hunt/year per your instructions. Clients with confirmed bookings
will receive a complete licensing and travel information packet from Weare’s Outfitting
during January of the year the hunt is booked to take place. This is a simple process
with easy to follow instructions. Included in your packet are instructions for filling
out the paper application or applying online, specific travel instructions, final
payment instructions, taxidermy and meat processing information, an equipment list
and a color brochure from the previous hunting season.
Mountain Lion hunting is now by special permit only in our area. Permits must be
applied for by late August. For a $50 fee, Weare’s Outfitting will place you in
the drawing and obtain a bonus point for you. Apply in successive years and each
bonus point gives you one extra chance to draw a license. You may obtain one bonus
point each year you apply for a permit and pay the fee. Bonus points begin at zero
again once you draw a Mountain Lion permit. You will be notified in late September
if you have drawn a permit. If successful, you will need to schedule your hunt with
Weare’s Outfitting and purchase your Mountain Lion license.
Black bear licenses are guaranteed, but must be purchased before the opening of
season.
